Boys Player of the Week

Justin Kight, Silver Creek

While the rest of the team was either struggling to score or sitting on the bench having fouled out, Kight was lifting Silver Creek to a big 51-49 Mid-Southern Conference win over Brownstown Central on Saturday. Kight scored a team-high 22 points, including five of the Dragons’ six points in overtime, to give Silver Creek a 4-1 mark in the MSC. The Dragons trail only 2-0 Salem in the standings. “I thought Kight came up big for us tonight,” SC coach John Bradley said. “With the foul trouble that we had ... he really picked us up in overtime.”
