Boys Player of the Week

Tyler Schulze, Scottsburg

Schulze – probably the hardest-working player in Southern Indiana – went on a personal 11-1 run in the third quarter of Scottsburg’s 62-46 win over Scott County-rival Austin on Friday. The senior, who didn’t start because of an injured foot, hit two three-pointers and converted on a three-point play during the Warriors’ run early in the third quarter. Schulze’s streak took the Warriors from five points down to five points up and led to a second half in which they outscored the Eagles 43-25. Schulze finished with a game-high 17 points.
