Despite having several players nursing injuries, Austin hung with heavily-favored Paoli for more than a half.

The Eagles led 15-11 at the end of the first quarter and were tied with the 16-4 Rams at the half, but Paoli pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Eagles 15-8 on its way to a 62-53 victory.

Junior Drew White led the way for the victorious Rams, scoring a game-high 23 points.

Three Eagles were in double-figures, led by junior Eric Rigel's 18 points. In his last game, Tim Fletcher added 14 points. Sophomore Ty Winchester had 12.

Austin's season ends with a 5-16 mark, while Paoli will face the winner of tonight's second quarterfinal contest between Clarksville and West Washington.
